Job Description :

CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO), Chandigarh, a premier Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), is involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines with emphasis on measurement science and instrumentation technologies. The Organisation is devoted to R&D activities in the areas of Agri Instrumentation, Biomedical Instrumentation, Optical Devices & Systems, Geoscientific Instrumentation, Precision Mechanical Systems, Analytical Techniques and R&D Support Facilities, Computational Instrumentation, etc. CSIR-CSIO is in the process of recruiting Scientists to undertake the design & development of scientific and industrial instruments covering the above-mentioned areas and manage projects, intellectual outputs, technology transfers and information systems.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years as on 11-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.

Pay Scale: Pay Level of 11
