Job Description :

The CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi is a premier constituent establishment of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Technical Assistant and Technician posts.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Upper Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 28 years as on 06-12-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: The candidates short-listed by the duly constituted Screening Committee will be called for a Skill/ Trade test. Those who qualify in the Skill/ Trade test will be called for a competitive written examination in Paper I (Mental Ability Test), Paper II (General Awareness, English Language) and Paper III (concerned subject). The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in Paper II and Paper III.

Pay Scale:
Pay Level 06 of Rs.35,400 - 1,12,400 for Technical Assistant
Pay Level 02 of Rs.19,900 - 63,200 for Technician

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women/ Regular Employees of CSIR/ Ex-Servicemen are exempted from submission of application fee.
