Job Description :

Applications are invited from the candidates of AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) trade, for the Tenure based CPW Personnel on a Contract Basis, to work in Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, for a period of One year from the date of engagement, and extendable to Four years, based on factory requirement and individual performance.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed matriculation + NAC/ NTC issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP Trade, having completed the course from a government/ private organization having affiliation from the government, and those from Government ITI.

Desirable: Possessing Ordnance Factory training or experience in manufacturing and handling military explosives and ammunition.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 35 years as on 20-12-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test only, in the order of Merit. Cut off percentage for calling candidates for Trade tests will be decided by the factory based on the total Marks secured in NCTVT.

The merit list will be prepared based on combined marks secured in the NCTVT Exam and Trade test/ Practical Test.

Remuneration: Basic Pay of Rs.19,900
