  Bihar Staff Selection Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Welfare Administrator and Lower Division Clerk posts in the District Sainik Welfare Offices under the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Bihar, Patna.

  Welfare Administrator: 33 Vacancies
  Lower Division Clerk: 42 Vacancies

  Commencement of Online Applications: 25-04-2025

  Eligibility Criteria:
  Welfare Administrator Posts: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent.

  Desirable Qualification: Former Havildar to Subedar Major, or equivalent ranks in the Navy and Air Force.

  Lower Division Clerk Posts: Candidates must have knowledge of computer operation and typing on a computer (in Hindi and English) along with Intermediate (+2) or equivalent qualification.

  Desirable Qualification: From Ex-Havildar to Subedar Major or equivalent ranks in the Navy and Air Force.

  Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 56 years as on 01-08-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Exam followed by the Mains Exam. Candidates must have qualified in the Preliminary Exam to appear in the Mains Exam.

  Scale of Pay: Pay Level of 03 for Welfare Administrator posts
  Pay Level of 02 Lower Division Clerk posts

  Application Fee: Rs.540 for all category candidates (Male/ Female) of General Category/ Backward Class/ Extremely Backward Class from outside Bihar state
  Rs.135 for Backward SC/ ST/ disabled persons and Women of all categories (only for permanent residents of Bihar)
