  Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the post of "Steno Assistant Sub-Inspector" in the Government of Bihar, Home Department (Reserve Branch).

  Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

  Steno Assistant Sub-Inspector: 305 Vacancies

  Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed the minimum educational qualification Intermediate (10+2) examination or equivalent examination and the candidate must hold a diploma certificate in computer operation from a government-recognized institute.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 01-08-24. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written competitive exam of two paper, and Eligibility check of hindi dictation, type checking and computer knowledge test.

  Scale of Pay: Pay Level of 05

  Application Fee: Rs.700/- for male candidates of Extremely Backward Class/ Backward Class/ EWS/ and Unreserved Class natives of the state of Bihar and male/ female candidates from outside the state
  Rs.400/- for male candidates belonging to SC/ ST category native of Bihar state, and female candidates of all classes/ categories
