  Job Description :

  Banaras Locomotive Works invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

  IT Seats: 300 Positions

  Fitter: 107 Positions
  Carpenter: 03 Positions
  Painter (Gen.): 07 Positions
  Machinist: 67 Positions
  Welder (G&E): 45 Positions
  Electrician: 71 Positions

  Non IT Seats: 74 Positions

  Fitter: 30 Positions
  Machinist: 15 Positions
  Welder (G&E): 11 Positions
  Electrician: 18 Positions

  Important Dates:
  Commencement of Online Application: 05-07-2025
  Last Date of Online Application: 05-08-2025

  Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must pass 10+2/ intermediate examination with a minimum of 50% marks, from a recognized board (8 pass for welder) and must possess ITI in a relevant trade recognised by SCVT/ NCVT.

  Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 24 (15 to 22 years for welder positions) as on 05-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

  Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on merit list in each unit (ITI & Non ITI both), which will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in the Matriculation Examination (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks).

  Processing Fee: Rs. 100
  SC/ ST/ PwBD/ women candidates are exempt from payment of the application fee.
  Candidates are suggested to pay the processing fee online.
