Job Description :

Officer of the Director General, Assam Rifles invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Technical and Tradesman enrolment into Group B and C posts.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria as required educational and professional qualification, experiences if any, and other important guidelines as suggested in the official advertisement to be eligible for consideration for said post.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 23 as on 01-08-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Physical Efficient Test, Physical Standard Test, and Trade (Skill) Test followed by the Written test that will comprise a total of 100 marks. The candidates who are successful in the PET/ PsT/ Documentation/ Trade (Skill) test written test will be short-listed to the next stage and Detailed Medical Examination (DME) on the basis of their merit in the Written test.

Pay scale: Pay scale and other allowances will be applicable/ admissible as per the pay scale applicable to the Assam Rifles Personnel.

Application Fee: Applicants are suggested to pay the application fee of Rs. 200 for Group B posts, and Rs. 100 for Group C posts. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/Females are exempted from payment of the application fee.
