Officer of the Director General, Assam Rifles invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Rifleman/ Riflewoman (General Duty) under Sports Quota recruitment in Assam Rifles for the year 2025, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of lndia.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must have passed the Matriculation from a recognised Board.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 and must not have crossed the maximum age of 23 as on 01-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Physical Standard Test, Motor Ability Test, Field Trial followed by the Detailed Medical Examination.

Final selection will be done on the basis of achievements and performance in Field Trials and level of participation.

Pay scale: Pay scale and other allowances will be as admissible to Assam Rifles personnel as per 7th CPC.

Application Fee: Rs. 100 for General/ category candidates
SC/ ST/ Females candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
