Job Description :

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of Nursing Officers for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS as per available vacancies in the respective Institutes.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council Council-recognized institute or University
OR
Candidates must possess a B.Sc.(Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council-recognized Institute or University.
Candidates registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council

OR
Candidates must have a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute/ Board or Council
Candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwife in State/ Indian Nursing Council.
Candidate must have two years’ experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all participating AIIMS.

Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years as of 21-08-2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable per government rules.

Selection Process: The NORCET-7 examination will be conducted in two successive stages.

Stage I: NORCET-7 Preliminary

The NORCET-7 Preliminary exam will be a total of 100 marks. (20 MCQs related to General Knowledge and Aptitude and 80 MCQs related to the syllabus of Nursing courses being taught at the essential qualification level)
There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.

The NORCET-7 Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination where a candidate who qualifies in Stage I will be allowed to appear in Stage II.

Stage II: NORCET-7 Main(Scheme of Examination)

The NORCET-7 Mains exam will total 160 marks, related to the subject covering the entire syllabus of Nursing courses.

There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.

Note- The qualifying (percentage) marks in the NORCET-7 Examination will be 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC & ST. For PWBD, an additional 5% relaxation will be given regardless of category. Accordingly, qualifying marks for PWBD will be as follows UR/EWS-PWBD-45%, OBC-PWBD-40%, and SC/ST-PWBD35%).

Pay Level: Level 07 in the Pay Matrix of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-, Group-B

Application Fee: For General/OBC Candidates - Rs.3000/-, for SC/ST/EWS Candidates- Rs.2400/-
PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
