Job Description :

All India Institute of Medical Sciences invites online applications from eligible candidates for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 9 for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts.

Commencement of Online Application: 22-07-2025
Last Date of Online Application: 11-08-2025
Online (CBT) for Stage I NORCET Preliminary, Date: 14-09-2025
Online (CBT) for Stage II NORCET Mains, Date: 27-09-2025

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies:

Nursing Officer: 3500 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate must posses a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ state Nursing council recognized institute or University.
OR
B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing council recognized institute/ University.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years as on 11-08-2025. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government directives.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of NORCET examination that will be conducted in two successive stages as described below :
StageI: NORCET Preliminary
Stage II: NORCET Main

Pay Scale: Pay Level 07

Application Fee: Rs.3000 for General/ OBC category candidates
Rs.2400 for SC/ ST/ EWS category candidates
PwBD category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee online.
