SSC Stenographer CBT Exam
Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC Stenographer Computer-Based Test (CBT), which serves as the first stage of the selection procedure. The test consists of an objective online examination that carries 200 marks and has a duration of 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for eligible PwD candidates). The paper includes three sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks), General Awareness (50 marks), and English Language & Comprehension (100 marks).
There are 200 questions in total, each carrying 1 mark, while students who answer incorrectly will lose 0.25 marks. The exam pattern tests students on their ability to think logically, their knowledge of current events, and their proficiency in English language skills. The SSC-CBT qualification enables candidates to proceed to the stenography skill test which constitutes a vital step toward their final selection process.
