One of India's most sought-after banking exams is the IBPS Clerk exam. It is held every year and hires clerks in public sector banks throughout India. In 2025, the recruitment cycle is referred to as CRP-CSA-XV (Common Recruitment Process — Customer Service Associates, 15th edition). In banks, a clerk's job is significant as it deals with daily customer contacts, account handling, and taking care of banking activities. The test is conducted in two phases—Preliminary and Main—both online. The candidates are examined on reasoning ability, numerical ability, English language, general awareness, and computer aptitude. In contrast to the PO test, the Clerk exam does not have an interview stage. Clerical positions are viewed as the gateway to the banking industry, offering job security, career growth, and exposure to the banking activities. Proper study plan, practice of previous year questions (PYQs), and mock tests are necessary to crack the examination. With hard work and continuous preparation, contenders can establish a successful banking career with the help of this examination.
